“THE WONDERFUL THING ABOUT TIGGERS”: AD(H)D AND OTHER CO-OCCURRING SPECIFIC LEARNING DIFFERENCES!

Teachers are becoming better at recognising dyslexia in their students, but it usually appears with other SpLDs which may not be identified. This workshop offers an overview of a range of SpLDs that frequently co-occur, including dyspraxia and Asperger’s Syndrome, before focussing on AD(H)D. Participants will learn more about how to identify AD(H)D, how it can affect language learning and how to accommodate it in the language classroom.
